Announces the Release of Their Latest EZTax®
Benchmark
Lenexa, KS, October 21, 2002: BillSoft, Inc., a
software company servicing the telecommunications industry announced today their
latest milestone of their EZTax® taxation
software. A benchmark study, performed on October 11, 2002, verified that
BillSoft’s EZTax taxed over 1.8 billion transactions in one hour.
"This clearly distinguishes BillSoft’s EZTax product as the highest performance

The benchmark produced the following results:

This test was performed on a DellTM DimensionTM 4500 Series system (serial number 6BWMY11) with a 2.8GHz
Pentium® 4 processor. The system has 1GB DDR
SDRAM at 266MHz, with an 80GB Ultra ATA/100 hard drive (7200RPM), 533MHz Bus,
and an Intel ® 82801 ATA Ultra disk controller.
The system uses the Microsoft® Windows® 2000 operating system.
