With a click of a few buttons the EZTax Manager will walk you through configuring your system with EZTax.  You can set it up and forget it or change the configuration as many times as you want.  It’s all up to you.

The EZTax Configuration File Wizard allows customers to create and modify the EZTax.cfg file, which is used to adjust the operation of the EZTax engine.  The Manager comes preset with default settings but allows users to change those defaults.  The tool offers options for changes to the EZTax Log (used for tax reporting purposes), transaction defaults, bundling, overriding, and tax calculations. 

The EZTax Manager is a sophisticated tool that allows EZTax customers to easily manage the configuration of EZTax in their environment.  In addition, customers that have purchased supplemental EZTax products such as the Viewer and Bundler, have the capability to run these programs from the Manager application.  This gives a more uniform approach to using the supplemental products and allows all applications to be accessed from one centralized location.

BillSoft is excited to offer this configuration tool to enhance our customer’s ease of working with EZTax, the most comprehensive tax package available.  The GUI or tool allows the customer to select the platform they are using and save the Filelocs.txt file in the appropriate format for the user platform.  It also allows users to select or confirm the name and location of the EZTax database files.  Once the Filelocs.txt file is created, it is placed in the working directory when running EZTax.
